Sugar Rush was born in the little hamlet of Lily Valley in Southwestern Equestria. He was the only unicorn in his elementary class and his is the only unicorn family in LV's strictly Earth pony community. He has considerable skill in sculpture but he dabbles in every major form of art. (He likes line drawing with carbons on papyrus.) His cutie mark is three sugar cubes. He got his mark while making an entry for a local art show/contest. He drank fifteen frapuccino's in a row while making a sculpture of Night Mare Moon. He won second place in the contest, but his beautiful and haunting depiction of the insane Princess of the Night earned a place in the Royal Academy of the Arts. He is now working on a marble-and-granite sculpture of Princess Twilight Sparkle. He is a major caffeine addict. He is good friends with Contralto, a professional opera singer, and loves the feel of grass on his hooves.
