Ikari Gendo had all he needed to bein humanity's transition into a world of peace. All he needed to do was fight off the Angels, bring NERV activities to theitr ultimate conclusion and he would reap the benefits of the Rapture. He didn't, though, anticipate a creature to appear in Tokyo-2 that was the fitting description of a nekomimi. NOr did he figure into his plans that this ragamuffin being, who went by the name of Nokoa Yuiko, to be a pilot for one of the release candidate EVA units. Even more surprising was his son's attraction to Miss Nokoa, even though it appeared one sided. (It certainly didn't help that she would pur in Shinji's presence, either.) Than came her friend/master/lover, Nokoa Kagami...
(I had a much better description before, but it got lost somewhere. Thuis is the best I can do for an early Sunday morning...)
