News:

Vacation, I Need One

These hours at work I'm keeping are starting to wear me out.
It's cool that I can get home in time to eat dinner and watch a little TV, but fuck-me-freddy-sideways, could I have a little consistency?!
For the last two weeks I've been one from 9:30AM-6PM CST.
It's an awful time for traffic, coming and going, and worse I hardly get anytime to decompress before I have to go back to work.
I want my mornings back!

To my loyal readers and fans of this novel-in-progress, my deepest apologies.
I hadn't had any inspiration to finish this chapter for the longest time.
Then the other day, an image popped in my head and suddenly, I had a crystal clear idea of how to end the chapter.

Anyway, on to Chapter Nine!
Oh, and I'm thinking of reloading the current posted chapters as PDFs.
As soon as I figure out how to do that…

WATCHER POINT SYSTEM!

Watcher Point System: A brief overview

So this is how it all breaks down:
A Favorite on any deviation will get you fifteen (15) points.
Post a comment on a deviation and you get five (5) points.
Post a comment on a Journal Entry and you get five (10) points.
Post a comment on my dA profile and you get 20 points.
All current watchers get a twenty-five (25) point bonus and all new watchers will get twenty (20).
Replies to any comment will get double the points, i.e.: a reply to a deviation comment will get you ten points, replies to a Journal comment will get you twenty, so on and so on, ad ifinitum.
Now, what do these points mean to you?
Simply, at every threshold marker, you get something free from me!
@ 100 pts. - One analog drawing of you choice, 8-1/2" * 11" at 92 dpi*
@ 250 pts. - One digitally colored drawing, 8-1/2" * 11" at 300 dpi
@ 500 pts. - One rendering, single character, of your choice, fully clothed, 11" * 17" at 300 dpi
@1000 pts. - One render, single character, clothing optional, 11" * 17" or larger at 300 dpi

Can you see where this might be win/win?
I get to be more creatively challenged and you all get free gear!

Bleeding Slowly Dry

Well, it was bound to happen…
The student corporation that lent to me is now taking a %15 lien on my paycheck.
And then the IRS is giving me a refund this year; point of fact, I owe them for some reason.
And if that wasn't enough, I now have a court date because I can't afford to get my car's registration on time and/or fix my break light/turn signal and/or get a decent set of new tires for my car.
It's one thing after another down here in The Tenth Circle of Hell.
